hey guys.

six days from now i will be officially moved into my dorm at the university of michigan. i'm pretty excited about it. i have a full plate of classes this fall, which i might not be so excited for... but i'm really pumped to get into my art work again. i tried to do some drawing/ painting at the beginning of the summer, but my mom always complains about me leaving my paints around. i told her i just need my own studio. i can't say my roommate will be anymore cordial about the artist issue, but it will be nice to at least be able to pick up and go somewhere to do it instead of being stuck in my house. coffee shops are too small and quaint to drag canvases into, don't you think?

i hope to work on maybe getting some more work into my deviations as the semester goes by. i guess i shouldn't be expected to really "show off" my portfolio on this thing... but i think it might be nice to let any potential viewers out there know that yes, i am more serious than a dramatic teenager with a digital camera on vacation. =/

aiight folks, i'm signing off for now. hopefully next time i write i'll have a new spurt of deviations to upload!
